‘Europe as a Global Actor’ Conference and the SMART Project

‘Europe as a Global Actor’ conference was hosted by the Directorate General for Research and Innovation in the European Commission. During the event eleven projects selected under the 6th societal challenge of Horizon 2020 in the 2015 call, including one featuring Sheffield, were presented and thus we had an opportunity to hear how the EU plans to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable world.
