2020 Photography Competition Winner Announced

White Rose Brussels announces the winners of its 2020 photography competition

The winner of the My Yorkshire category is Zoe Davis, a staff member at the University of Sheffield’s AMRC, with the entry ‘Captured Beauty’.

“Captured Beauty – Through rock weathered by the years, the Yorkshire landscape is captured on a cold, winter morning.”

The winner of the My University category is Clémentine Garcenot, who graduated from the University of York with a Masters in English Literature, with her entries ‘Heslington Hall’ and ‘A Quiet and Snowy Place’.

“‘Heslington Hall’ is a picture of Heslington Hall in Derwent College during Spring, Uni of York.”

“‘A Snowy and Quiet Place’ is an image of the Quiet Place with snow near Derwent College, Uni of York.”

Congratulations to both our winners! We would also like to extend our thanks to all our entrants; the quality of submissions was very high and the White Rose Brussels judging panel deliberated for quite some time before reaching a unanimous decision.
